What I don’t want to ultimately happen is to end-up with another Mike Tomlin situation on our hands where we’re 15yrs, or longer into this thing, can’t beat a top 5 team to save our soul, & we still can’t get rid of Franklin at that point which is the exact same situation that the Steelers are currently in with Tomlin now set to enter his 19th season with 0 success in the playoffs outside of 1 lousy Super Win in the very beginning with Cowher’s players.
If the Gork’s of the world had it their way every good football program in college, & good Pro team traditionally would have mediocre coaches that u can’t fire no matter how mediocre they are in big games.
Would like to avoid ending up in that situation if at all possible ultimately!
