He is better known as James Darren and was a big teen idol (singer & movie star) when I was growing up. He is well known for his role as Moon Doggie in the movie Gidget, for his regular role in the TV Series "T.J. Hooker", and for hit records in the early 60's, including 2 top ten hits "Goodbye Cruel World" and "Her Royal Majesty". This guy was one cool dude. He had looks, money, and could sing and act. He's been married to Evy Norland, a former Miss Denmark, for 55 years. I cannot believe he is 79. (Geeze, I feel old.
