Jan Johnson upset at SC Regional quarters

Alive in consolations, will probably still qualify for Hershey.

Lost to 3-2 to Tommy Rayhart from Big Spring. Scoreless first. Johnson got a controversial escape in the 2nd -- ref double-whistled on a restart, Rayhart stopped, Johnson kept going, ref allowed it. In the 3rd, Johnson got nailed for locked hands and the Rayhart reversed him. Johnson got a late escape for the 3-2 final.

I think Rayhart placed at states a couple years ago. And I think his matches with Johnson are always very close. This wasn't that much of an upset.

Johnson is still alive in consis for the postseason.
