Did anyone hear that Jay interviewed for the OC position? I read on a Fordham message board that Jay Pa, Stitt, Moorhead and Mangus all had interviews. Now this could be total BS and just somebody saying "they had a source" and listing the same names everybody listed while throwing in Jay. But I thought I'd ask here. I haven't been on as much the past few days so I didn't know if I missed a post about this.
Obviously it doesn't matter since Moorhead got the job, but I still find it interesting - if true. Again, if true, I wonder if Franklin was just throwing him a bone or actually had interest? Just seems way out of left field. I think Franklin has done a tremendous job tipping his hat to the PSU/Paterno history, but interviewing one of the most ridiculed coaches in PSU's history seems a bit off - if true.
