I'd like to see the evidence (sans testimony) of JS abuse. Jay probably would as well, but he's too much of a pussy to say it.

I think it's because Meyer is one of the few coaches to attend Joe's funeral and because Meyer still keeps a photo of himself with Joe in his office.
Urban was friends with JoePa. Urban was at Joe’s BJC remembrance gathering. He has quotes from Joe hanging in the Horseshoe. I think Jay has reasons besides a job in football to like Urban. I do respect Urban who, unlike that traitor of a “friend” Bobby Bowden, had no hesitancy to show love for Joe.

Meyer did like Joe, I have that from first hand knowledge.....I'd really rather he didn't.

I’ve said this before about Urban but I’ll repeat it again. His biggest issue in my opinion is that he is a football coach. And a great one. He wants to win football games and does a phenomenal job of it. He is not a molder of men, or at least that is not what matters to him.

There is a lot left on the table. The only thing that Zack has been arrested for is violation of a protective order (after being set up, IMO) He will have a trial date where there is actual sworn testimony, (if the DA even pursues them) as opposed to an article by a "journalist" who changed his story several times as his "facts" were debunked, non existent arrests etc... This is the last place I would expect a rush to judgement...
Yep, like many that are closest to the PSU situation, Jay knows JS is innocent but won’t say so. I’m not sure I blame him. Saying that publically might ruin his life and most likely wouldn’t change anything. Sad, but the truth doesn’t matter anymore.

Why would Jay want to speak unless he wants to make this also about Penn St. It isn't. This is Meyer and Ohio St. They handled things very differently. Don't shift the discussion and make it something it isn't. Ohio St did this on their own.

I’m not so sure about that. If you’re familiar with the facts of the case it’s pretty obvious, even for Scott. Like the BOT, he’s invested in the myth, as much as anyone considering his role.
Wasn’t that during the 2008 big ten championship season? That was a great offense. Darryl Clark is second only to Trace in career touchdowns. Underrated qb with a 22-4 starting record.

I recall that. I'm thinking it was around 2005, when that great freshman class was coming in and MRob was the QB. Could be wrong.
What I don't recall clearly (and I have no doubt our BWI brethren will jump in with why I'm an idiot or maybe that I am on the right track), but remember something about, is that using programmable football animation became a widely used coaching technique, a visual playbook. PlayStation was used initially because it allowed for programming in the plays, routes, etc. and then could be shown on the iPad or whatever they were using. So, they essentially programmed in the playbook, and the players could visualize how the play lined up, how it unfolded, etc., which is far better than the old plays diagrammed on sheets of paper or on a white board. I think it was considered innovative and caught on, and I believe the ensuing iterations of that are still used.
But I could be wrong, and therefore an idiot and a Jaybot. I will be proactive and blame Jay directly, just in case. But I recall something along those lines, from whatever reality I am/was/will be living in.

That report was done years ago. Lots of investigative work has been done for those actually interested in the truth since then. For example, the medical reports that JS has extremely low testosterone and basically no testicles or sex drive. There should be tons of evidence if JS is one of the “most prolific pedophiles of all time”, but instead the mounting evidence supports his innocence.
You mean Dottie and Jerry saying they had a normal sex life until he was in prison for 5 years and somehow remembered that medical condition. One that has nothing to do with crimes 20 years ago. Medical reports which somehow never managed to make their way into evidence presented by the defense. BTW, there are studies which present low testosterone levels in convicted pedophiles. That doesn't make it a prerequisite, just eliminates it as a defense.

Why didn't the defense ask an accuser about it? Why didn't the defense put a physician on the stand to testify about it?
The defense was Joe Amendola and he had what 7 months!? Find a case like this one that was rushed through this quickly. Of course that barely skims the surface of corruption that was the JS trial.

Another guy who I would like to see speak up is newly elected trustee Brandon Short. I have a strong hunch that he knows the case is BS. It is interesting that Short acknowledges he spent countless hours with Sandusky outside of practice, both discussing game plans and discussing how to grow the second mile, yet never suspected a thing. Particularly when 6 of the 8 men who testified against Sandusky claimed thier abuse happened during the exact time when Short was playing for PSU. It’s also worth noting that the key accuser from this time period, so called Victim 4, claimed much of his abuse happened after school in the Fall of 1998 and 1999, a time when PSU would be having football practice.
