For those of you who didn't listen in, I thought some comments by Bill Bender (Sporting News College Football guy) were interesting. This is a guy who looks at all college football, not just PA teams or BIG teams.

1. Based on last night's performance, he rates PSU as the no. 2 team in the BIG East in position to challenge OSU for the division championship. Michigan clearly has problems and MSU just doesn't have an offense.

2. Michigan's performance against Wisc really call Harbaugh and Michigan into question. Some interesting stats:

a. In this decade, OSU is 14 - 4 against top 10 teams. Michigan is 1 - 16.
b. Harbaugh's (and more broadly Michigan's MO) is to beat up on weak teams and lose to good teams.
c. Where does Michigan go if they fire Harbaugh or he leaves? This is the guy they have wanted for years and he just doesn't see any other proven big name coach wanting to go to Michigan. He rattled off a couple names (Urban Meyer, Dabo, Saban, and some others who wouldn't be interested).

3. He also said he thought that Clemson and at least two SEC teams would be in the CFP. The BIG champion, PAC-12 champion, ND, and the BIG 12 champion would vie for the last spot with the outside possibility that a third SEC team could shut them all out.
