.. then kick some a$$, starting with your staff and then your star QB. This wasn't a "Penn State" team that lost to Temple today. It was a bunch of pampered overconfident babies who think way too much of themselves and a coaching staff that feeds them this bull$hit. This group may have more talent than some past teams but they showed a lack of character today. Fortunately, there's 11 games to go. Get tough.

No doubt, Coach has lots of company in that "mirror check". The team has two directions they can go - be gutless quitters OR go back to work with determination to do whatever it takes to get better. It's what they call "gut check" time for Coach, the "honeymoon" is over. Quitters never win and winners never quit.

We all agree that our overall talent is still depleted, but today was not about talent. We had more of it than temple. Today was about a team not being prepared, and that is an unacceptable way to lose whether it's to temple or Alabama. Fundamentals are lacking with this bunch...question then becomes is it because of the players, the coaches or both?

If Franklin doesn't shake the thunder, set a fire under some people by making some changes and just make it clear that Mr. Nice Guy is over..., he may have just had a close up eyeball-to-eyeball view of his replacement. Ruble seems very aware that a lot of PSU people recognize that he has Temple playing more like a traditional PSU team than PSU's team. Face it, Temple never gave up after getting completely dominated in the first 25 minutes. They outworked us, outcoached us, out intensitied us and just wanted it more at the end of the day. Coach Franklin better get on his horse because Matt Ruhle looks like a perfect candidate for the job If things don't improve.
