JHoops, have you heard if UConn joining the Big East is a possibility? I know they are probably holding out for an ACC or Big Ten invite that's why they continue with Div 1 football. But at some point I would have to think staying in the AAC would eventually hurt mens basketball. How does mens recruiting compare now to when it was a Big East team? Competing with the SMU's and Tulane's of the world (no natural rivalries) must surely hurt. I'm thinking renewing rivalries with Villanova and Georgetown plus all the others would be good for the UConn brand. What do you think?
Edit: I wouldn't be surprised if the AAC eventually disolved exactly because its a mismash of schools spread all across the Country.
