True. He was found guilty instantly in the court of public opinion when the facts were not known or considered. In the legal world, he was never charged with a crime because he followed the law. Furthermore, he was exonerated by the Office of the Attorney General in November 2011.

They point to that one 1998 media day photo showing sandusky with his arm around Joe's shoulder. That must mean they were friends. They worked together, and it was media day, so they put on happy faces for the media. Anyone who really knows the situation, especially the circumstances under which sandusky retired, knows they weren't friends.
