The very same Joel Klatt who left PSU out of his top 25, then was big enough to admit it was a mistake. He has argued consistently that preseason rankings carry too much weight.
All of those folks who should care one iota about what Joel Klatt thinks about "rankings" (or anything else):
Well, at least we have a chance to prove it one way or the other on the field.
All true. Except Wisconsin...their QB play is Division 2-sequel.i think that is a little much for PSU with the schedule to date. Beat Iowa and Michigan and then Top 5 is a real argument.
Ohio State looks to be Top 2 definitely and a playoff team. Smacking down MSU and a destroying a decent Cincinnati squad. Bama and OSU have looked the best. LSU has a nice win but hasn't played anybody else but looks good. Clemson hasn't found their way yet but you can tell if they do are going to be tough. Wiscy lurking in the background.

Based on their current resumes, LSU >>tosu. At least les Tigers have a top 10 win...who exactly has the buckeyes beaten?i think that is a little much for PSU with the schedule to date. Beat Iowa and Michigan and then Top 5 is a real argument.

Playoff teams this year: Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, and the winningest CF team of all-time, Michigan

Well said. I would add Georgia with Ohio State/Bama and say we'll find out about Oklahoma soon. There's a clear divide between the top tier teams and the second group this year. A huge gap IMO.
Sparty is sparty and Cincinnati is....well....Cincinnati. Yes, I’ve see tosu play. Just like every September, they crush it early, then choke when they play someone with a pulse. They may very well be better than LSU, but beating sparty and the bearcats doesn’t do anything to prove it.Michigan state isn’t chopped liver and Cincinnati is ranked 25. Have you watched OSU this year? They are crushing everybody. They look pretty awesome and as much as we all want Fields to fail, he has been a perfect fit for Day’s offense and is playing lights out.
Well that's it then. I guess this season is over.We haven't played anyone. We will get railroaded by tOSU. We won't win more than 2/3 for Iowa, UM, or MSU games. This team will be playoff ready by next year.
I’m not sure what a scorned, un-orgasmed woman looks like...I’ve never seen that. And yet, Fan Boys still get all masturbatory whenever these carnival barkers - including Klatt, Herbie, and the cadre of pimps - say something “positive” about their team......
And react like a scorned un-orgasmed woman when they “throw shade” on their team.
LOL
