Somehow he met someone while in LA, that invited him to Elton Johns New Tears Party. So he went, but knew he was going to be passed curfew. He tried to stuff a pillow under his shirt, and do something with his hair, to not get caught past curfew.
Well he ended up getting caught. So Franklin sent him home. But instead of a plane, he sent him home on a bus.
