Jack Smith does not sit around. Nor does he back down. On Tuesday, reacting to the Supreme Court’s shocking decision to grant presidents immunity against criminal prosecution for official acts in office, the Special Prosecutor filed a new indictment against Trump tailored to bring a prosecution that did not rely on official acts.
A Grand Jury looking at Smith’s new evidentiary presentation agreed with Jack and recommended Trump be charged with the same four original crimes.......
