Is it just me or is JT Barrett one of the most overrated players in college football, especially at his position?
Against bad defenses, he can make some runs for 1st downs to get his team out of trouble, but against good defenses, not so much. He's very one dimensional and even as a runner, he's not Tim Tebow or Tyrell Pryor.
I say that if you put Barrett on Iowa, for instance, he wouldn't get near the notoriety that he does and wouldn't win near as many games. Just my opinion. Don't get the Barrett love. Just more press hype because he's a Buckeye.
I'll take McSorley over Barrett if we're picking sides. In fact, it's not close.
