it occurred to me that transfers are of legal age to sign contractual arrangements. Specifically, I thought about non disclosure agreements.
Obviously this year we had an abnormally high amount of transfers, but the rest of college football is obviously feeling the repercussions of the transfer rules. Even David Shaw, one of the more reputable coaches at reputable academic programs that would have a whole lot to offer a transfer who knew they weren’t nfl material, has spoken out.
I guess my question for the board is: if immediate eligibility requires coach sign off, do you think there’s some sort of NDA that the players are compelled to sign. Not just at Penn state, but anywhere. Seems to me that it would make some sense if you ask me. Especially if most schools are on the same page about it.
