Gerald Owens was a 6 - 1 245 RB for me back in 2011 - 13, and was an All State RB in his Jr and Sr years (scored a combined 8 TDs in the 2011 and 2012 State Title games). Now he is 6 - 2 301 and plays DT for MSU. His recruitment involved some very "creative" academic maneuvers by Dantonio and friends. 
I hope that G (as we know him) gets his a$$ handed to him this Saturday BIGTIME, and then goes on to have a great rest of his season. He's a GREAT kid, but I can't root for him when he is in green and white. O'Brien never had enough scholarships back then to recruit a kid who, at that time, was a high school Fullback, and also VERY VERY marginal academically.
