with the loss of JJ, i thought we might see Justin Shorter come in more. i think he is our top rated WR for this FR class, and one of only two guys with any size. i thought he would be able to contribute this year.

Dotson has stepped into that spot but Shorter, who had been injured earlier, played against Wisconsin and will likely see more time in the final two games.

Shorter was injured all year long as well and finally got back on the field last week. Do you not really follow the team or just like subtle trolling?

It wasn't. He can RS while still playing in two of the next three, and that's exactly what Franklin said he intends to do with him

Doesn’t matter anyway. Top flight players have 3-4 year window.

Loss as in not getting playing time because of performance?
Or, is there something I missed? I looked over the board and didn't find anything. Not being a smart ass, honest question.

TIA.

OL

JJ has missed significant time with injuries, and does appears to be still out injured. Shorter was hurt for a few games early, but i think has been okay since the tOSU week.

“Anybody want a peanut?”
How the hell am I the only like for this?

I like using the redshirt of a player isn’t 100% a go for the season. He may have played a couple plays vs Kent State but was he 100% confident and ready to go with himself physically and mentally after missing so much time??? Nobody knows. If you aren’t a full go and can help significantly then the 4 game rule is great and redshirting. I also agree these top skill guys are not in it for 4,5 years but you never know what a career will give you. Having that extra year might be well be worth it. At the beginning of the year I never thought there was a chance Juwon johnson returned for a 5th year, he probably didn’t either. Now I bet he is glad he has it available to him. Minor injuries that hamper performance and slumps can make that extra year nice to have.

He's been hurt since the first or 2nd week of camp. He got in for 1 play against Kent St. (not sure why) and then played a little against Wiscy. It's pretty much been talked about multiple times on both boards.

JJ was in a boot at the start of camp or at least some part of fall camp.
But he got hurt after his big long catch and run against Indy.

Like a kid walking down the street, with cooked spaghetti falling out of his pants pockets.

Two immediate thoughts:
1. Very creative, clever wordsmithing.
2. What the hell does it mean?
Possibility .....spending time with John Cappelletti's mother for dinner :p

really, learning the college FB environment at his age o_O

"spaghetti is to find yourself in an awkward situation whether in a crowd, or between yourself and an individual you attempted to avoid. Spaghetti-ing can also occur if you lose your words in conversation and find yourself stuttering or repeating yourself. These situations are referred to as ' spaghetti' because once one spaghetti falls ( one social error), the rest will continue to pour out with heavy weight and embarrassment."
