Guess that explains Pinegar
Yes, they're all "full" at the FBS level. Was he on full scholarship?
Was he on full scholarship?
Have you watched Pitt play?Yes, there is no other kind for football.
I would not sleep on Carson Landis. Kid has a big leg. Carson kicked at Keith Dorney's high school, Emmaus.

After I read your post I checked out some of his highlights. Big leg is right. His kickoffs were almost all in the end zone. One was nine yards deep. He's a big kid for a kicker too. He might really be booming them now.I would not sleep on Carson Landis. Kid has a big leg. Carson kicked at Keith Dorney's high school, Emmaus.
Is Landis a preferred “run on”?I would not sleep on Carson Landis. Kid has a big leg. Carson kicked at Keith Dorney's high school, Emmaus.
Not entirely surprised there either. His PT really diminished. Almost disappeared. Too bad. When he played last year he was a nice change of pace and a tough inside runner.
To match partial coaches on full salaries.Partial football players on full scholarship,
I wondered about him and his absence in the Maryland game. I liked him.
I liked Robinson as well and understand that he should be able to seek playing time elsewhere. I am wondering if anyone else felt that he looked "heavy" this year?
For the record, I was probably the last guy to make the cut on a lousy small college FB team. No one has more empathy for the guys riding the pines than I do. But, you play to win the game, right?I feel for Robinson. He seemed like a good teammate. Just speaks to how tough the business is. He is recruited the same year as Barkley and watches Barkley go on to become a transcendent talent and he receives 95% of the playing time. Then....Miles comes in the next year and clearly passes Robinson for the remaining 5% of carries. No idea what he is like off the field, but seems like a good kid and good player...just not good enough to compete with Barkley and Miles.
Depth behind Sanders next year may be a concern. Slade, if he signs, will be a true freshman enrolling only a couple months before the season starts.I feel for Robinson. We still need more players to leave if we are bringing in 25, which is expectedTo match partial coaches on full salaries.

Franklin can process with the best of themFranklin has lost the locker room.
"Pursue other options." Interesting phrasing. Will he transfer with the intent of still playing football? Or is his plan to move in a direction away from football? Whatever the case may be, all the best to him.

He made the last kickoff and that was it.The writing was on the wall with Barbir. I thought it was a little strange that Davis was still out there kicking while up 66-3 in the Maryland game.
Carson is on the roster, right now. They definitely are looking at adding a walk on kicker. Vladd Hilling from Holidaysburg is being considered.
Best head to another campus and beat Harbaugh to his next IHOP appointment... Tough times...Franklin has lost the locker room.
I kind of think we're overlooking Journey Brown. It's my understanding that the kid has the work ethic to go with his athletic intangibles. He's as fast a running back as we'd ever had. At a minimum, he'll be the kickoff return guy and carry 3-4 times a game, that's my guess. The pressure he'd put on the defense, that's something to think about.Andre Robinson leaving is not surprising. He didn't see the field the last month of the season. It was obvious during the Maryland game during mop up duty when Mark Allen was in instead.
Ricky Slade will be to Miles Sanders as Miles Sanders was to Barkley. Sanders will get the majority of the touches while Slade spells him. Sanders looked special when he carried the ball this year and I have a feeling Slade will also be the real deal. Mix in Journey Brown and Mark Allen and you have a fantastic backfield.
