Kids for Cash, not centered in Philly but in Luzerne County, was a breathtaking piece. I serve on a statewide board of WV attorneys and someone during one of our meetings was talking about a WV judge in ethical trouble. I told them about kids for cash and there were audible intakes of breath.

Trying to see all sides here. I am not surprised Kane is now in a box on this and I posted something last week to the effect that if she receives the "OK" to release the e-mails, that might be the last thing she really wants.

You are correct that the protective order is not preventing the release of anything. But that does not mean there may not be consequences for any release. The protective orders also did not say she could not fire staff members. She did and now she is being investigated for said action. This is not as black and white as many would like it to be.,
