Liepold IS an outstanding coach and one of very few who know how to navigate undefeated seasons. I wanted him before he went to Buffalo and I’d be happy to swap.

As someone living in Austin but can't stand the Longhorns, recent history has been pretty enjoyable here in Longhorn country. Their fans are among the most delusional I've run across.

Edit - the video in the post above is a perfect example. This "fan" lists 10 coaches and UT would have a longshot chance to hire maybe 1-2 of the 10.

Honestly, with the quality of Texas football they ought to be in the top 10 every year. Horrible mis-management. Will add that the video was mocking Sarkisian, but was 100% sarcastic with respect to the list of potential replacements. Still very funny. I am sure Schadenfreude for you.

I didn't watch it, I just skipped to see the coaching names, so I missed the sarcasm. But the fact that I so quickly believed it tells you what I encounter with most Texas fans. Most probably believe they could just throw a blank check at Saban and he'll come, because after all, "it's Texas."
