For a third straight week, a Penn State running back has earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors.

There is a good chance that before the end of the season Carter or DDS put together the stats to earn B10 freshman of the week. And if redshirt freshmen qualify for the award, possible Wheatley..... but it seems easier for a player on offense to get selected.

It really is quite incredible to have pulled Singleton and Allen in the same class these days. I think they both have NFL starting RB potential. It's early but a lot to be excited about there.

We sure hope so. Now if Evans and Saunders can start taking the tops off defenses...

Not that we have these types of players every year, but a Hamler or Justin King just put every defense, and not just non-major players on their heals and opened things up with even simple routes.

With Allar in the fold it would have seemed that Franklin and Stubblefield would have reeled in some high 4 star / 5 star WR's in the 2023 class, but instead seemed to have trouble landing their first offered players. Gallagher to WVU a head scratcher other than Morgantown's being close to home for him.

Maybe with what Allar has shown this season they can use that to get top talent at WR in the 2024 class......

WVU supposedly went all in on Gallagher with NIL.

When the Buckeyes get 3 of the top 10 WRs every year, that hurts as well. Bigger issue is these kids are usually national type recruits. Another 2 top 300 kids in our backyard for '24. Perhaps we can get them both.
