of the money corman "saved" the PA "taxpayers."

$48 million of PSU money (which is what--7% from the taxpayers?) no longer need be paid to the NCAA. Remember, if 7% of that 48 million, or more, was slated to be spent in PA by NCAA, then this is a wash.:)

Wolfe ups PSU's appropriation by 49 million like 6 days later. 100% of those funds come from PA taxpayers.

So, Corman's big win results in taxpayers spending 93% of 48 million (44million plus) MORE than the taxpayers would have spent had corman never filed suit.

Now, when corman and wolfe put their heads together and reduce spending on CYS by 44 million we will see what Jake ought to be getting credit for--nothing.:)

Numbers don't lie! But liars sure do figure. Analysis is biased; where you trained by Freeh?

Explain the bias. Is that a truthful rendition of the possibilities,

or not. Hey, maybe I have it wrong. If you are a PA taxpayer, you can go ahead and view this as a win.

OK. So...PSU athletics gets hit for 48 mil, then PSU

(non-athletics) gets 49 extra million from the state's taxpayers. So 0% of the 48 million came from the taxpayers, yet the taxpayers still get hit for an extra 49 million. tote it up:

PSU Athletics....down 48 million
Pa taxpayers down 49 million

PSU (non-athletics budget) up 49 million.

Then, assuming my hunch is correct and Wolfe and corman get together and work it out, they reduce the CYS budget by the amount of interest which comes from the 48 million dollar trust fund every year, and we are still where we were--PSU athletics is funding CYS, and the taxpayers are getting hit for an additional 49 million which goes directly to corman's friends on the boT.

Re: OK. So...PSU athletics gets hit for 48 mil, then PSU

I'd say that is a pretty reasonable and fair interpretation. It is projecting - of course - wrt what happens to the CYS budget, but that seems plausible, and the rest of it is pretty clear cut.

Including CORMAN'S, which I understand are to be paid by PSU--

now, is that athletic money also?
