From Phil’s article......In 2018, Brown, Johnson and Farmer failed to do that. Between them, they totaled only 9.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. They did not make many game changing plays.
Think we could 30 tackles for loss and at least 15 sacks out of this unit? Hoping to see Lavar type plays out of Micah. Lavar was crazy and pretty much made game changing plays in every game. Comparing Micah to LaVar is kind unfair, but I do expect to see some big plays out him. Also making more tackles behind or close to the line of scrimmage.
I expect big improvement out of Cam Brown as well. It’s his last year. Wish he could have been redshirted.
Not sure what to expect of Jan Johnson. He is serviceable and a returning starter. Hope he comes up big in the middle.
