I should have an article out sometime later tomorrow with four-star Farmington Hills (Mich.) Harrison DE Khalid Kareem regarding his East Coast tour last week, which included a stop at Penn State. I was talking with his father tonight, though, and the way that trip went down was kind of interesting. They were out east visiting schools like Boston College, Harvard and Yale (he's a 3.9 student) and on their way back realized State College was only an hour from where they were. So, they contacted Penn State's coaching staff and even though they had just an hour to prepare, Kareem's dad said "that was one of the best visits we've had." Sounds like it definitely was a trip that raised Penn State's profile on his very deep offer list, and I'll talk more with Khalid tomorrow about it.
