UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The game time for the Penn State football contest against Indiana on Saturday, Oct. 10 is slated for noon. Television arrangements for the Homecoming contest will be announced at a later date.

Previously announced, the Nittany Lions will host Rutgers in primetime on the Big Ten Network on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. Also announced was that the Penn State at Ohio State game on Saturday, Oct. 17 will kick at 8 p.m. on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2.

Penn State and Indiana have squared off every year since 2007 in Big Ten games. The Nittany Lions are 17-1 all-time against the Hoosiers, including a perfect 8-0 mark in home games. The teams first met in Beaver Stadium in 1993 with Penn State claiming a 38-31 win.

A stout defensive effort led the Nittany Lions past the Hoosiers, 13-7, last season. Bill Belton provided the offensive spark with 92-yard touchdown run and Sam Ficken converted on a pair of field goals. Nyeem Wartman-White and Mike Hull each tallied seven tackles to pace a defense that limited the then-nation's leading rusher (162.5 avg.) and Doak Walker Award finalist, Tevin Coleman, to just 71 yards on 20 carries. The Nittany Lions shut out the Indiana offense as the Hoosiers scored their fewest points at home since 2006 via a defensive touchdown.

Penn State will be playing at least one regular season night game for the 16th consecutive season. Every Penn State football game has been televised the past 10 seasons and 253 of the last 255 contests overall have been on TV.

The Nittany Lions open the 2015 campaign on the road against Temple at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday, September 5.
