It was announced on Thursday that Pittsburgh native Darrelle Revis was going to be enshrined in football greatness forever. Revis makes it in as one of nine players to be elected in this 2023 class, getting in on his first year of eligibility as well

Pretty surprising, at to me . Three is a small number for how long the NFL has been playing. I would have guessed some schools would have had four or five by now.

What a hotbed of talent. Still kicking out great teams and high end talent, and doing so with a small enrollment.

They have to be one of the best high school football programs in the country, pound-for-pound. Between their history and how many levels they play up today, I can’t think of many that are more impressive than them.

Jason Taylor was inducted a few years ago and Gronk will be inducted a few years from now. That's two for Woodland Hills in a ten year span. But I don't think they have any others. And although Miles Sanders is a good NFL player, I don't think he's going to make the HoF.

I know Gronk moved to Woodland Hills for the football program from Buffalo or Rochester. I think he only played a few games because the WPIAL rules him ineligible for awhile.

I think Jason Taylor’s story was he was home schooled and just played sports in the HS. I assume he lived in the district but not sure.

Anyone remember the particulars?
