Kurt Ferentz suspended

I like Ferentz Ds but Iowa has absolutely benefitted from fall of Wisconsin and Nebraska over last decade. They can lose 3 games in West and still get BTW title. If only PSU was on that side. We would probably be in 4-5 BT title games in last decade instead of 1.
When does Michigan get their punishment.
They are waiting on Connor's documentary next week to determine if he did anything wrong. They'll take his word that Jim and coaches knew nothing and he funded spy campaign on his 55k salary.

Jim knew but Connor has plenty of family money

Your first paragraph nails it. The divisional structure has been a bad joke. However, Iowa's free ride finally ends this year when they are in the same pool as all the other teams in the expanded conference. In the new set-up, they'll actually have to earn their way to the league's championship game. Don't see that happening.

As for Kirk's laughable "punishment," it sends a message...but not one that the NCAA intended.

Oh then pencils down on the investigation. Somehow you know that Connor's family was involved in the scheme? They are middle school teachers. Any other UM defense nuggets you want to throw out. "Oh they are picking on UM because Saint Jim wanted to share revenue. He thought of it all by himself"...except Franklin brought it up too, earlier in April 2023. Keep supporting Big Blue, Lando

" His parents, Brock and Kelly, are teachers at the local middle school" per Detroit Press

How is this supporting Michigan?
I said Jim knew
The family has money...not an opinion

The family spent thousands out of own pocket for bribes, tickets and flights? Anyone ever hear of second hand vacuum repair business previously? You would have to be a UM loving dope to believe his family paid out of their love

Victor! Heard of such a business before- but there is a common thread.

Vacuums suck, as do teams that have to cheat to win. I bet the parents of Conor Thee Stalion are super proud of their son at this point. Exactly where every USNA grad hopes to be.

IF parents were pimping him cash then does that impact their careers? In many places such a display of unethical behavior would be cause for concern. Teachers are held to even higher standards then DC politicians, right? What about the impact on kids? In Michigan they may just get promoted. Did they get championship rings?

Nothing to see here. All is above board. We just have to get over our Napoleon complex and accept our place. The Wolverines and their Honorary Coach are a wonderful program of honest, great men. In fact, Michigan Men. Hail Victors!

Again, where am I defended Michigan or saying Michigan didn't pay for anything? You're flat out wrong if you don't think he has money
How is this loving Michigan? You're not making any sense. Stop being emotional.
And, yes, he was able to take this job in the first place because his family financially supported him while he wasn't being paid by Michigan. Michigan cheated--we all know this--dealing with reality doesn't alter that

On 11/30, Michigan is going to get its as* kicked. A little late, but there is that.

What data do you have to support the fact that Stallion's family "had money"? They were middle school teachers.

maybe worry about your overrated team traveling to oregon...osu has at least two L's coming this year
Overrated? Probably not this year. For Ohio State, the Oregon game is the second most important and it isn't even close.

maybe overrated was the wrong word, preseason rankings are for clicks anyway...let's say getting too much love..sawyer and jtt are overrated, two new LB's including one who switched from safety...underachieving offensive line, and a QB who put up average numbers in a conference that doesn't emphasize defense...if the buckeyes can't generate a pass rush, oregon will carve them up

Time will tell, but this OSU team is as talented as any in the last 20 years.
