It is funny how much attention they are paying to the name-dropping of our OC, who supposedly is doing home visits of our offensive recruits. Doesn't sound like a guy who is interviewing anywhere.
I'm from Pittsburgh so I know all to well about the doucheness (not a word, I know), that comes with being a Pitt fan. They hate us more than they actually like their team. Same goes for Butgers and the Twerps too.
He's not going anywhere. No inside info. Just my opinion. I think he stays at Penn State until he gets a really good offer - no need to jump into rebuilding mode at a program or try to build a program from the bottom up. If his stock continues to rise, he'll get great offers in several years. Also, what if likes being an offensive coordinator again? People too often assume that every assistant coach wants to be a head coach.
They'd be better of praying that Canada doesn't.
If we are a 2nd half team again next season, the 52 could be 2nd half points. But still... 52 ain't unreasonable given how Pitt's D played at times this season.
Canada's praying that he does. Next year's offense for Pitt will not come close to resembling this year's, with all of their graduation losses. His stock will never be higher.

I read on their board that they were trying to present the idea that PSU has peaked and they are only starting to get better while they are nearing the stratosphere of continued appearances for national championships. Please keep telling the recruits they are idiots by using this lie.

The Captain over there says we're in "catch up" mode for Pitt's national championships. You can't make this shite up.

Pitt had a good year. They beat two Top-5 teams along the way. They have a respectable bowl opponent and a chance to win 9 for the first time in forever. Wouldn't you think they'd be happy instead of throwing shiz around?

When Syracuse comes not far from hanging 100 on them and their great genius defensive coach, I would hope the PSU scoreboards can handle large numbers being thrown on them next fall with this PSU offense.
PSU has a chance to win 12 games, something Pitt has only done once... back in 1976 when they were cheating to win their only national title. Pitt truly is a pathetic program and fan base.

Stop saying they beat two top-5 teams. Penn State wasn't even ranked in the top25 when we lost to Pitt. They beat ONE top-5 team!
And really... they didn't beat either team. Both PSU and Clemson handed them the games.
FWIW, I'd put pretty decent odds that Canada would bolt Pitt before Moorhead leaves PSU
Moorhead likely only leaves to go to a decent HC position (of which there are only a dozen or so that come open each year)
Canada could leave Pitt if he's offered a decent HC spot......
Or a crappy HC spot......
Or an OC spot at a high end program......
Or an OC spot at a "meh" program that was willing to bump up his $$$$.......
Or an OC spot at a "meh" or lesser program that was "closer to home".......
There are a lot more potential suitors that could lure Canada from Pitt than could lure Moorhead from Penn State.

I wouldn't be surprised a bit if Canada left before Moorhead does. Coach Mo is going to have a fully stacked gun cabinet next year. Canada may well be shooting blanks. And if you have a bad year at Pitt, you are buried forever.
Yes, from everything I have heard. Wade is coming to PSU. My contacts are pretty good in Western PA. I won't say they are never wrong. However, they rarely are.

Moorhead may be the chef but the ingredients and the cookbook are staying behind if he leaves.
All we return is the best QB in the B1G, best RB, best group of WRs, and return an o-line that featured 3 freshman, and 1 sophomore to help us beat Wisconsin.
Fortunately for Pitt they didn't have to face suspended Curtis Cothran and were able to run through our young d-line that was still getting its feet wet. When Curtis eventually started at DT, Penn State went on a 9-0 run against the spread. Pretty amazing.
I get it though that everybody needs hope, and things are looking pretty hopeless for the Panthers. All they can do to grasp to a glimmer of hope is to convince themselves that PSU's success is due to a short timer OC.
Reality will set in hard next September, and hopes will be crushed.

That's why we got the new, bigger scoreboards to handle the BIG NUMBERS. We knew Pitt was comming into the Beav in 2017!
Pitt fans laughed at the Moorhead hire when it was made, but now can't wait for him to leave. Psu will be fine either way. The foundation is built. If Pitt couldn't take advantage of Penn States situation the last 5 years, they never will
Pretty much it. I think they need to worry about their OC who carried their defensive genius of a coach all season long.
It's hilarious. First, we hired ourselves a loser. Then, even though they hate us, they want the loser to leave so they can laugh at us. The only thing funnier would be if Moorhead gets offered the job at Pitt at some point, and he turns it down to stay here. We could get mileage out of that for at least a decade, maybe more.
In the meantime, Matt Canada's name has surfaced as someone that LSU might be interested in.
