Exactly, but the announcers will continue to fellate him because he’s “athletic”.…just stunning. Would make a great running back,
Onward Harbaugh!
Just threw interception #4 tonite…and it could be as high as 7…and yet the Browns are so incompetent, they still might lose!Exactly, but the announcers will continue to fellate him because he’s “athletic”.
Most overrated player in the league.
Guess when Mahomes or Brady threw 3 picks in a game last year you said the same thing?…just stunning. Would make a great running back,
Onward Harbaugh!
Hardly…Brady and Mahomes are all-timers. And they have tbe W-L records - especially in big games to prove it.Guess when Mahomes or Brady threw 3 picks in a game last year you said the same thing?
He had a bad game, he is a good QB with a different style than you are used to, who will throw for over 4,000 yards this year while rushing for another 1,000 yards.
Who said cut him?Bad?? 🤣🤣
he had a bad game, but is still a top 5 QB. Every QB has a game like that.
His TD to Andrews was a pretty amazing play
He won a MVP and up until tonight he was mentioned as a candidate again. But you are right, they should probably cut him
They are what 8-3
He is better than all but a few qbs in the nfl and most coaches would sell their soul to the devil to replace their own lousy qbs with LJ.Who said cut him?
He has games like this frequently - especially in big games. Top 5 QB? Laughable. His decision-making and accuracy are bottom half of NFL starters.
Might be the best running back in league. Can’t see the Ravens winning a Super Bowl with him at QB. But they are stuck with him now. Harbaugh is committed and seems sure he can make it work. But he keeps falling woefully short in playoffs. And the Ravens D is not what it once was.
15 TDs and 12 INTs this year. Maybe defenseive coordinators have figured out that the way to play him is to contain his running and make him beat them with his arm. They employed a similar strategy against some guy named Kaepernick who was all the rage for a few years.I totally disagree. LJ is playing with his fourth-team RB and without one of his top receivers. His team is 8-3 in a tough division with a tough schedule. I just don't know how long he'll hold up because he demands so much of his body. But right now, he is one of the top five QBs in the NFL.
PFT has him as him at #5 and ranked as the most dangerous QB in the league..Who said cut him?

I have heard this for 3 years on him about him.. LJ iS a smart runner, he will get out of bounds. He doesn't take many hits, and he is an absolute beast. Watch him last night and Garrett couldn't even get to him.Best runner the NFL QB position ever saw was Mike Vick. Eventually someone caught him and sent him out on a cart. The same will happen to Jackson if he continues to think he’s a RB instead of a QB. Only a matter of time.
Mahomes has 1 super bowl and this season has looked very ordinary at times. He is very good, but let's slow down a bit on him.Hardly…Brady and Mahomes are all-timers. And they have tbe W-L records - especially in big games to prove it.
Jackson is a fabulous runner. But his passing is awful and his decision-making is even worse. And in the NFL, that is critical to win in the playoffs.
15 TDs and 12 INTs this year. Seems like he’s having a lot of bad games.PFT has him as him at #5 and ranked as the most dangerous QB in the league..
I will take them over some guy named MacNitt on a message board.
The guy had a bad game last night, Big Ben had a bad game vs Jacksonville a few years ago, Rodgers had a bad game in Week 1 vs New Orleans, it happens.
Easy to pick stats that make your point and ignore others. He does complete 64% of his passes, has thrown for 2600 yards and is averaging 261 yards/game (11th in the league) which is 53 yards/game more than the year he won the MVP and puts him on pace to throw for over 4200 yards (not bad for a running back, as the local radio DJs like to say) while also running for over 70 yards/game (puts him on pace for his 3rd 1,000 yard season) and doing it all with no running game.15 TDs and 12 INTs this year. Seems like he’s having a lot of bad games.
Interesting. Just listed to a 30 minute segment on the NFL network. Subject: the serious situation of poor QB play of Lamar Jackson in Baltimore. The hosts seemed to suggest that Ravens think very hard about extending Jackson after this year. They cited rapidly degrading QB play by Jackson over last couple of years. They seemed to believe the league has defending his pass game figured out and Jackson/Harbaugh have been unable to adjust. With a Wonderlic score of 13, this should surprise no one.PFT has him as him at #5 and ranked as the most dangerous QB in the league..

Mahomes has had an off year (so far)…but his statistics and record over his career are phenomenal. Might be a bit premature to call him an all-timer, but he is well on his way. His passing ability >>> Jackson.Mahomes has 1 super bowl and this season has looked very ordinary at times. He is very good, but let's slow down a bit on him.
Calling him one of the best ever already LOL
Baltimore is playing with their 4th string RB. It was so bad they even had to take Laveon Bell of the scrap pile. (he was released last week.)15 TDs and 12 INTs this year. And an OL that would rival ours and or the Steelers as bad.I totally disagree. LJ is playing with his fourth-team RB and without one of his top receivers. And 1 good rookie WR who just got healthy and an absolutely horrid OLine.Easy to pick stats that make your point and ignore others. A few…would you take him over:
Aaron Rogers?
Tom Brady?
Kyler Murray?
Pat Mahomes?
Russell Wilson?
Derek Carr?
Josh Allen?
Mathew Stafford?
Kirk Cousins?
Dak Prescott?
Joe Burrow?
Ryan Tannehill
Carson Wentz?
Which one? If any?
Both Rogers and Brady would have picked the hapless Browns to pieces. Jackson’s problem is not the Ravens line? He was a bad passer behind a good line with a strong stable of RBs. He is just a poor passer and decision maker. And that is unlikely to change. Are we sticking them behind the Ravens patchwork o-line? Probably all of them.
Clowney and Garrett would have sent Brady and Rogers to the ER last night. Murray, Mahomes and maybe Wilson are the only ones that wouldn't have gotten crushed on multiple drop backs.

He’s make a great running back though.
Interesting question. And, of course, the decision comes down to where you are as a team in terms of competing for a SB. I'd take Rogers over LJ to win the 2022 SB, but not if I am building a team for a SB run three years from now.A few…would you take him over:

No, but Brady IS noted for getting rid of the ball quickly.Ah yes, because Brady is noted for his evasiveness under pressure. Baltimore has lost their starting left tackle in b2b seasons with less than adequate replacements. Not sure who you have more blind rage for, Franklin or Jackson.
This is from a huge Browns fan. I am sure the Browns would trade Mayfield for Lamar. Think the Ravens would take it? Any Browns fan would.…just stunning. Would make a great running back,
Onward Harbaugh!
Willingness to trade one bad QB for another doesnt necessarily make the point. This is from a huge Browns fan. I am sure the Browns would trade Mayfield for Lamar. Think the Ravens would take it? Any Browns fan would.
No. Mac Jones also is not Baker. The Browns would do that deal in a heartbeat. Jackson is an elite, though unconventional QB. Mayfield is at best average.Willingness to trade one bad QB for another doesnt necessarily make the point.
Do you think NE would trade Mac Jones for Jackson?
Agree on Mayfield being average at best.No. Mac Jones also is not Baker. The Browns would do that deal in a heartbeat. Jackson is an elite, though unconventional QB. Mayfield is at best average.
The Ravens are 8-3 with a ton of injuries. The league's DCs need to figure more things out about the Ravens.Agree on Mayfield being average at best.
Disagree on Jackson being elite. I think the league's DCs have figured him out.

Or a black guy from eastern PA within the last 6 years. This board will take anything anyone has ever accomplished and argue they deserve no credit for it. Unless it’s something an Italian guy did ~15-50 years ago.
Their defense has held opponents to 17 or less points in 8 of their 11 games. So there’s that. 🙄yet they’re 8-3 and Jackson has orchestrated game winning drives in 4 of the 7 wins he’s started.
Correction: Lamar Jackson threw 4 picks. I think he is a very unusual player. I don’t think he is a particularly good thrower, but he has tremendous success running. Also, he usually finds a way to win games, ugly though they be. Although it hasn’t happened yet and hopefully it won’t but sooner or later running QBs in the NFL get hurt.the offense threw 4 picks and the d still only gave up ten points. 7 of those on a pass that clearly hit the ground. The ravens D is good. Need to reign in the blown coverages for big plays though.
Mayfield shouldn’t be playing with his injuries. He is not elite, but he usually wins games when healthy and the ground game is working so he can be a game manager. The complaining about him by the fathers of Beckham and Hunt is bush league.No. Mac Jones also is not Baker. The Browns would do that deal in a heartbeat. Jackson is an elite, though unconventional QB. Mayfield is at best average.
