Hey all, happy last day till football season, go PSU!
I have a Lamar Stevens update:
Right now, Lamar has set two visits that have been confirmed to Marquette and Pitt. It appears that Lamar will take most, if not all of his visits at this time, weight his options, and them commit. This can go anyway, he could end up deciding in the fall time or wait till the spring. Knowing Lamar, I don't think he will play it if he knows that a school feels right.
I believe Lamar is in the midst of trying to set up a Penn State official visit pretty soon, maybe as early as next weekend with other recruits. I have been told, while Bostick and Carr are not putting pressure on him to choose PSU, Lamar is well aware what it would mean to join them at PSU and is very open to that idea.
In the end, I still think it comes down to Penn State and Indiana. I don't see Lamar going to Marquette or Pitt, in my opinion. I will know more in the coming weeks to give more clarity to this recruting process.
