I have no idea what happened there but obviously she wasn't singing and her ear pieces failed. She managed it professionally considering how terrible it was.

She doesn't need a career. She must make $1mm a year just on that Christmas song she did 20 years ago.

Lip synch vocals didn't come through during her New Year's Eve concert on abc. She couldn't sing her own songs even though she had a hot mike. 2nd song came on and the vocals were on but she wasn't moving her mouth half the time. A truly fitting end to 2016. A performance almost as bad as Ohio state's.
