I am not one to get so emotional after a loss or a bad year to call for someone's job replacement. The results are in and the OLine did not make any improvement from last year to this year with the exception that we at least blocked the other team and not our own guys.
As a manager, you (CJF) need to recognize that you want to get your entire staff to progress and you can't sacrifice the entire coaching team for a weak link or links otherwise the whole team coaching gets fired. I feel bad but Herb has to go. Coaching means teaching the players to get better, in this case the OLine: Ineffective.
CJF should be working with the new potential OC regarding who should be the next OLine coach so that they mutually pick someone that is great.
