Reeder, Reeder, Reeder.... truly impressive. We will be ok at LBer as the season moves along. Cabinda will be a good one too. When Bell returns, we will be well above par.

This seemed like the longest game in PSU history, and I go back 57 years. The O alone made the first half seem to be 1:45 (hrs) long. Hack's short passing game has disappeared. The closer he is to the receiver, the more he is off target. The bombs were closer to the mark but timing isn't there yet.

The rain, rain and more rain quickly soaked through my brand new PSU water resistant parka making me soaking wet by 10:30am. But what the heck. you can only get soaked once.

Was really surprised to see Hack play the entire game again. Still wondering why CJF doesn't get McS some game experience. Only thing I can think of is he doesn't want to create any semblance of a QB controversy should McS's mobility prove effective and Hack continue to struggle. So he avoids the possibility as long as possible.

Penalties penalties penalties...made the game even longer.

The return game is becoming a real threat. Toe is doing ok. Punting was up to 38+ yards/punt, slowly improving. We'll be ok.

Sneakers were not a good choice for the game. I had spare clothes to change into, after the game, but had to leave sopping wet socks and sneakers on until I got back home in Ohio at around 11pm. Then took a hot shower and immediately ran the washing machine to clean up the wet stuff before mold set in.

Polk is having a nice impact spreading the field.

We desperately needed a RB to run for 100 yards. SB is exciting, and one of the future leaders this team is still looking for. But I think we will have a couple more show up as the season wears on.

Great to see PP do well when he got in late. Watch him next week. But still need a couple of younger OLmen to to firm up the OL depth.

Until we got the running game going, the O was hurting. We cant afford to sputter through the 1st half and win many games. Need to get off to a better start. But at least there are starting to be signs.

Still waiting for a couple of WRs to become a threat. Keep Hack under center. Find RBs like SB who can make things happen. Then Hack can take his time when he feels like throwing it. Accuracy is still a major issue.

Rutgers will let us know if the O game plan is growing in the right direction. It sure wasn't that much different from game 1...but just enough. Still think we can become an explosive team later this season but will wait until I see it on the field.

We are still really short on leadership. Doing, not talking.

Did you see the dance team fire up the student body with their high leg kicks and then the mass split, right down into soggy turf! Talk about courage.
