laughable stuff re: NLWC on HR

Kudos to Lenoxhawks, for being the only person on that thread with his brain still turned on.

Recent major disconnect - some on the board hearing that Cael and staff showed up at Suriano's house at 12:01 am on the first day visits were allowed and hoping their staff never stooped to that. Well, if your staff is not going to hustle, Tom Ryan, Cael, Zeke Jones, etc will eat them alive. I'm thrilled that our legendary coach is still going about his business like a success-starved young kid at his first job.

Chicken jumped in late and seemed like the paranoid one to me. Had to start a thread here he got so worked up! I've seen many more outlandish threads lately than that.. c'mon now

Baloney and you know it. That's the kind of thread that gets you laughed at on Flo Radio - and then you guys go ballistic.

You don't see the 34 and Counting board get pissed when top guys from Pa, NJ, etc are picked to verbal to Penn State. But Willie thinks Suriano and Lee will and Katie Bar the Freakin' Door! Flo's recruiting for Cael again.

34 and counting is pretty dead . HR is one of the most active college boards. Higher chance of seeing things you don't like.
Also how old are you Chicken? Don't you remember the old Oscar Mayer weiner commercial with the kid singing? It's B O L O G N A.. ;)

Since the thread you linked is about Brody Grothus and Vince Türk at 141, a question for you. If Brody (who is 5'10") can cut to 41 and win the spot what does a match with him and Jimmy G turn out like? That has Funk appeal! I'm sure Türk will redshirt and if Brody can't maintain the weight Topher Carton will struggle on bottom against Jimmy but should keep it to a dec.

As far as Grothus, with him going down and Jimmy going up a weight class, endurance could play a part, so advantage Jimmy. If they do wrestle this year, it'll be at B1G's or NCAA's, so imo, it really depends on how well Brody manages his weight. If he's managed it well, I believe the "advantage Jimmy", becomes a toss-up.

I agree with your Topher Carton comment. Jimmy's not a huge bonus point guy (9 in 2014-15), and up a weight class he may have fewer. Still, Jimmy would be a clear favorite imo.

Hey guys, now you and I all covered up child rape! I can't believe it's taken this long to finally come out. For those that don't know, every freshman used to have to take freshman seminar where they explained that Jerry Sandusky was a child rapist and that we all had to help make sure he was never caught, but we were also never allowed to talk about it outside of the PSU community. It was a big conspiracy, but we did it! We all helped to cover it all up!

Just ask lenoxhawks. He's not a psychopath with mental disabilities or anything, though. He's a totally good guy.

I was attacked by the Rage virus while posting so may have screwed up, but this was in response to andegre's "troubling" post. Isn't he some sort of blogger, writer, etc? If not, I'm totally off base and, in the end, his post was fairly neutral. I just thought it was insane to even think this type of set up existed - even Alabama football boosters deep in their Wild Turkey wouldn't hatch such a plan. And like all conspiracies, someone would always talk.

It certainly wasn't HawkTalk whose journalistic ethics are of such high quality that even Edward R. Murrow pales in comparison.:D

haha, yeah I was wondering where you were going. Chief is right, Andegre runs Wrestle Stats, as for me, I don't classify myself as a journalist, so I knew that the barb wasn't directed at me! ;)
