Think this kid really loves PSU, but folded under the UM pressure and decommitted.. Who knows, but just coming back says something about his character and what he really thinks about our program. He might be a surprise recommitt when it is all said and done!

Also can confirm that Franklin is/was in Berks County @ Berks Catholic H.S. this morning and would assume that he would find some time to stop @ Exeter H.S. as well.
Yep. A lot of kids you just know are yours when they verbal. Other kids are easily drawn into the 'star' mentality when they start to get all of the peer and (sadly) adult attention and pressure. They are bombarded with 'the grass is greener over here' messages. Some kids pass it off, some kids can't.
This is why I say let's just all get together here the evening of Feb. 3rd and celebrate who we got during that day. We already have a ton of great kids on the roster and we're going to get a bunch more. Regardless of this one or that one coming or going between now and then we're going to be just fine. And better.

This is great news, hopefully getting him on campus will be the difference in getting him to re-commit.
NCAA needs to bring some order to the recruiting process. Either have an early signing period, or enact rules that severely limit contact with kids once they verbal. It's getting really slimy and that's bad for the student-athlete and cfb in the long run.
My thought exactly. Not easy or run of the mill for someone this age to step away from the crowd. How about that! A fair amount of moxie.
