AS this Board steers away from serious discussion of the current events which it was intended and most times it seems is used to insult the usual participants, the world is in flames and becoming more dangerous by the day. Israel has confirmed the death of Nasrallah and what that portends in the Muslim world is unknown but scary, and even as it pertains to America as we will come to the aid of Israel if Iran attacks Israel.
Clearly Trump's foreign policy worked at a minimum to the extent that Iran was unable to fund its proxies to attack Israel and American military installations in the Mid-East and even the western countries navigating the Red Sea. Pompeo was a very effective Secretary of State while Blinken has been very ineffective. Biden's lack of involvement from his bully pulpit, other than the occasional "DON"T" was pathetic and taken for what it was a weak ineffectual deterrent to Russia and Iran in its waging of war with Ukraine and Israel.
Putin threatens to utilize his nukes if Russia is unable to conclude the Ukraine war, if not favorably, at least in a save face way. The Biden administration has been unable to resolve either of the current conflicts, while Trump contends, he can and will. Whatever one's views on other issues facing America in the upcoming election to me the ongoing warring is the most important, but if polling is correct the foreign policy issues lag miserably behind the other issues. If we end up in a nuclear conflict the outer issues won't matter.
