This waiting for the post-season is torture! I am so excited to watch the team do their thing! The only thing tempering my excitement is the realization that the season is almost over with another LONG off-season to get through as a fan. But for now, let's bring it on! We Are!

Penn State!

This year, there seems to be a LOT of story lines at most weights.

Heck, there’s really only 2 heavy favorites for NCAAs. The other 8 weights are all mostly up for grabs.

Truly going to be exciting B1Gs & NCAAs, with tons of drama.

I really hope we qualify all 10. That being said, this is how I see it shaking out.

125: 9th for his first trip to NCAA's
133: One upset and he's in the semis but more realistically 4-6 range.
141: Champ
149: Noting but Bonus baby
157: Champ or Kemerer if Nolf doesn't go
165: I like Cenzo but I feel confident no matter what he's top 2. Also like Massa over Marinelli in the 1/4's
174: Hall coasts to get his 1st B1G title
184: Bo-nus Champ
197: Pin, Pin, Pin, Major - inciting fear in the rest of the country's 97 lb class
HWT: 3rd is as high as I can go. Wish NN had a better showing against Coon in the dual but think Snyder and Coon are another level.

A lot of great semi match ups that will keep my confined to the couch the majority of the weekend. WE ARE!!!!!!!!!

Agree about the off-season, but a bit meloncholy knowing no more Zain after this. Its also not just his wrestling, but his whole attitude and personality. He is an impressive person as well as wrestler (and leader). Regardless of how he goes out his final go-round, there is no doubt about how he will conduct himself.

Who are your 2 heavy favorites? Zain for sure, and I assume you mean Nickal as well. I'm sure picking Nickal, but any time you've lost twice in post-season to a guy, it's sure not a lock. Two years ago Bo pinned Martin in the B1G's only to lose to him at NCAA's. Last year beat him handily in the dual and then lost at the B1G's. Bo is definitely the favorite for sure, but. . . Or maybe your other heavy favorite was Micic!

So true! He is as classy as he is talented... I hope he stays connected to PSU for years to come!

NLWC for the next 6-8 years while winning multiple world and Olympic titles. Then join the staff under Cael as an assistant. Then take over for Cael hiring Bo and Nolf as assistants. They could all stay forever and wrestle exhibition matches before every home match. One can dream right?

Zain and who is the second? Normally Jason is a given, but

Lets go boys! Seven inches of snow yesterday four so far today. Sick of winter and ready for an early start tomorrow morning. If Carson can lock up another throw the whole house will be up at 7 am pacific time:D
No snow for me... I’ll be poolside on a day bed here in Cancun. Let’s just hope the WiFi holds up.

Are Iowa, Michigan and Minnie, combined, better than Iowa, Nebraska and Minnie were last year? If that's the case, then doesn't that dilute point-scoring, at least a little bit, meaning the winner should need to score a few less points this year, than last? If that's the case, it favors us, right?

that is way too deep for this without power, hoops distracted, beer addled guy to contemplate.

Well, that question has been answered resoundingly. PSU is 11.5 points ahead of where we were at this point last year, and OSU is 17.5 points ahead of where they were. The average for the next X teams is way down for any X you want to choose.
