Sounds like maybe he'll do the NLWC Senior Year?
Not at liberty to say much more but essentially yeah. Can assure you nothing negative.
Cut me a break, another "I'm in the know, you're not" *YawnNot at liberty to say much more but essentially yeah. Can assure you nothing negative.
Bold move, greenhorn.Cut me a break, another "I'm in the know, you're not" *Yawn
I like the use of greenhorn in this context.Bold move, greenhorn.
You realize who Clay is? Wise up,or shut up.
HSshirt, GS, and RS???He meets the criteria to train at an RTC.
Will he be living in State College and finishing up HS there? That would certainly beat the commute from home to M2 and back a couple days a week.
I wonder what the plan is for him. 157/165 or let him GS/RS and then hope CS and AB move up?
Ha, I started college in the Fall with 6 credits, 3 from an AP course and 3 from a course I took at a branch campus my HS senior year, and I still was there for 5 more years. Of course changing from Engineering to Business changes a whole lot of prerequisite courses. Also, I could have been done in 4.5 years but decided to cruise a bit my last year and go the full 5!This trend won’t shock me for the elite kids. Clearly you get a lot better working out and wrestling kids a lot better than you. If your goal is to win a NCAA tournament or Olympics, Hershey doesn’t mean as much, especially if your team isn’t in contention. The other thing I’m seeing trend now is kids are taking college classes as early as 10th grade at CCs. The idea that my 7 year old will go to 4 years of traditional college where we move him in Sept after his senior year of high school and May of his Senior year of college is very unlikely. He’ll either be in different parts of the world studying or out of his brick and mortar school in less than 4 years.
Greenhorn? LOL, good one! Actually been around a long time, since Plotit days. I guess as I get older and cranky I got tired of Tom's "I can't discuss what I know" BS. So now we have a different administrator and the same message. Oh well, if banned for an opinion maybe the new mod is too sensitive like Tom was at times. If we get banned for a dissenting opinion I guess I'll know what communism is like. Trust me, I'll still sleep good at night if I am and will still be a die hard PSU sports fan...."greenhorn" lolBold move, greenhorn.

If you've been banned previously, i think it might have been for taking personal shots at other posters, not just for having a dissenting opinion. Just a guess.Greenhorn? LOL, good one! Professional journalist says he can't repeat everything he's been told, and you have a problem with that?Greenhorn? LOL, good one! Actually been around a long time, since Plotit days. Nobody should be getting banned here for dissenting opinions. This isn't HR (at least I hope that's not the direction this board is going). If you've been banned previously, i think it might have been for taking personal shots at other posters, not just for having a dissenting opinion. Just a guess.
Never been banned before, although maybe 25 years ago Phil put me in "timeout" for questioning one of his opinions. I did my time however! lolIf you've been banned previously, i think it might have been for taking personal shots at other posters, not just for having a dissenting opinion. Just a guess.
This is different from the Lee brothers exactly how? Because it's PA?PIAA is not looking great right now. This used to be the Mecca and now people are choosing not to even wrestle. Best of luck to Levi and I can’t wait to watch him at Rec Hall.
Gibson and Crookham are opting out too
Who got banned for dissenting opinions? That is PSU210 whining. Personally I get tired of posters that "complain about Professional journalist that says he can't repeat everything he's been told" and seem to think they entitled to know everything about a high school (or even college for that matter) kid. Just ranting.Nobody should be getting banned here for dissenting opinions. This isn't HR (at least I hope that's not the direction this board is going).
I respect that Clay. I apologize if I came off as rude.Going to hopefully cut this one off at its roots. The Gettysburg Times (where I am also employed) wanted to do a story on Levi opting out and he said he’d prefer not to make it about him, nothing more or less. I’d hope we have the decency here to respect the kid’s privacy.
I agree NoVa; however, I was unaware he was a professional journalist. I completely understand his decision in that capacity.Who got banned for dissenting opinions? That is PSU210 whining. I’ll live. Appreciate it.I respect that Clay. I apologize if I came off as rude.
All is well. On to Penn.I agree NoVa; however, I was unaware he was a professional journalist. I completely understand his decision in that capacity.

Sort of. It's only a post season ban for the wrestlers.Gibson is not opting out lol. He doesn't have a choice.
Not sort of. Eric and is a great kid. He has done several interviews were he discussed how important it was to him to win a State Title. If McCort was eligible, he would 100% be wrestling this season.Sort of. It's only a post season ban for the wrestlers.
Not arguing with any of that. I was just separating the post season ban from choosing not to wrestle the entire season. Not sort of. Eric and is a great kid. Oh boy, Mike Evans is really not impressed!!This is different from the Lee brothers exactly how? Because it's PA?
Or from Mullen and Casale both skipping NJ states last year?
Or Snyder spending his SR year in Colorado Springs?
Or for that matter: when PA state finalist Seth Janney transferred after his SO year to Malvern Prep and therefore out of PIAA?
I have to go clean out my lacrosse helmet after forgetting him in that list.Oh boy, Mike Evans is really not impressed!!
when did that start? I went to Mont Alto and lots of Freshman lived off campusPenn State requires freshman to live on campus. An exception is made if you live locally with your parents. That might factor into things for some recruits whose families are able to relocate to the area.
Only necessary at Main Campuswhen did that start? I went to Mont Alto and lots of Freshman lived off campus

Just a few posts in one thread, Roar. I’m not sure that displays of decency on the boards is something we’ll suddenly see a lot of in the furure. 😉The future looks bright.
In other news, I like this kid already.Going to hopefully cut this one off at its roots. The Gettysburg Times (where I am also employed) wanted to do a story on Levi opting out and he said he’d prefer not to make it about him, nothing more or less. At University Park, and it's living with relatives in Centre County. Not necessarily parents.Penn State requires freshman to live on campus. An exception is made if you live locally with your parents. That might factor into things for some recruits whose families are able to relocate to the area.
Gotcha. At University Park, and it's living with relatives in Centre County. Not necessarily parents.
I knew 2 sisters from Virginia Beach who attended PSU together. The younger sister never lived in the dorms -- she shared an apartment with her older sister.
And then hopefully (for him) a national finalist doesn’t transfer in.HSshirt, GS, and RS???
Doubt he wants to wait that long but who knows.
Sounds familiar…….And then hopefully (for him) a national finalist doesn’t transfer in.
