Literally sick to my stomach (Rose Bowl)

step.eng69, are you heading west?

No Howie, but I'm happy for those that can make the trip and enjoy themselves. Kar & I have been financially helping our two grand boys with college the past five years. Both have graduated this past spring. TJ has a masters in biological science and is studying for his medical boards, hoping for entrance to med school. Jobie is in his first year at Penn State Law college, so I believe we will be helping for the next four years. After the kids, we're hoping to invest another $100 k into our house and upgrade from my 2009 LTZ. At 67, I may see the two boys graduate in medicine and law, but I don’t know if I’ll see the house completely restored. In 2007 we made $100k plus restorations in the house only to have our investments go to $hit in the crash of 2008. I make a good salary plus high end SS, but college is expensive. 30% kids, 30% state/fed, 30% for us, get my drift. We have three other grand girls, but my daughter’s father-in-law is helping with two of the three.

They always come down over time. Ticket brokers buy big blocks causing inflated demand in the begining.

Absolutely, they will come down the week prior and days leading up to the game. Those JO's make their money on folks buying over inflated tickets up front.

Get your priorities straight!

(If it's not obvious this is sarcasm).

Ha! Well I passed along my email in an early post. If I get my hands on any extra tickets, I'm more than willing to sell them at face.
Please, please, please keep me in mind should you get some. It would take all of the current stress off of our family trip.

Yes, see the B1G championship game for reference. $6 on game day (stub hub min).

Great, be safe & have a really good time. Occasionally report back to the siblings on the board, if you have time. Also see if the boys can get a few snapshots of the USC cheerleaders, less promiscuous than you trying.
Of course. I always employ state of the art stealth practices in these kind of matters.

I'm taking my two college age sons to the game as well as my father. That's family first, right? ;)
Just got word from my grandson at State College. He was in line at 4:am this morning and was able to get one Rose Bowl ticket. Family first. He'll connect with one of his friends from PSU that graduated with Jobie. His friend has a job in California. I got him to Indy, now to Cal. Howie, how much am I bankrolling for this excursion? Happy for him. An old grouch as myself is living my life thru my grandkids.
WE ARE....
