Bad start 2 and a half minutes in the defense stands by and leaves Princeton with an undefended and uncontested shot from point blank range 1-0 Princeton.

Nate Sucese scores short handed on the 2 on 2 break out. 2-1 PSU with 9 and a half left in the first.
Chase Berger knocks one home from Darien Hamilton as he’s getting knocked down. 3-1 PSU under 2 minutes left in the first period.
Alex Marsh steals the puck and goes end to end splitting 2 defenders down the middle for the 4-1 lead in the first minute of the second period. The offense appears to have picked up where it left off last week against Notre Dame. Goalie change as Marsh skates off the ice and waves bye bye to the Princeton goalie which creates some ensuing choppiness and a major scrum. Princeton looks frustrated.
After PSU bottles up the Tigers for a good 60 seconds, Princeton leaks out the other way on a breakaway to cut it to 4-2 with 2:19 left in the second period.
10 minutes of lack luster play where PSU has given up a few nervous moments but is still clinging to the ever dangerous 2 goal lead. Need to wake up here and finish strong.
And Princeton ties it 4-4 with 1:08 left. We sleep walked through this period and it cost us dearly. Tied with a minute to go.
This giving up in the third period has got to stop. This is ridiculous.
Atrocious third period played almost entirely in PSU zone. Totally outplayed and embarrassing effort to a 3-8-1 team
HIDEOUS 4-4 tie, no shoot out for this game which is probably a good thing. This team checked out mentally for the holidays before the third period. Wow was this bad.
I was at the game and the entire third period they were playing not to lose. And we all know how that usually turns out. Very frustrating to watch and reminds me of the game two years ago! This team needs to learn that killer instinct.
