Here is my "how to be skeptical of a paper" commentary.

Let us just say that I linked to a paper that showed that, at last, a perpetual motion machine had been invented.

Would you read it? Or would you just say, "OK, so unlikely to be true that I'm simply not going to believe it"

I hope most people would say the latter, and not the former.

Now, let's say that the guy who wrote the paper started to "Can you disprove it? Did you read it?"

I hope you would still maintain that you don't believe it, and aren't going to put in the time.

In that vein.......OF COURSE IT ISN"T TRUE - Paternity leave cannot possibly help the economy
