With 2020 recruiting looking good and no real needs left for the year, 2021 looks like the biggie. Major talents in needed weights (esp middleweights) and many in our backyard™.

Who are the priorities? Herrera? Manville? Van Ness? Facundo? Who seem to fit the program and style the best?

I’d think Manville would be tough to lose unless he thinks the middle-upper weighs are too crowded. I like Van Ness, but does Bartlett signining hurt that possibility? Big fan of Herrera, he’s just now making his presence felt. Think psu is a real possibility. As for Facundo, probably the biggest talent of anyone in the class, all I can say is nothing surprises me with Cael but it sounds like it’ll take some
Magic to get him out of Michigan

What’s the scoop on the Jagger kid? Saw he had 10 losses but did have that win over Anderson. Has had really good freestyle results as well. What’s his upside?

Those are the biggest names.

Might also throw in Poulin (125) and Kibe (165-ish) depending on weights of existing guys and long-term strategy.

May have to choose between Van Ness and Herrera, with Crookham in 2022 projected at 149 and interested. Van Ness projected 149. Have seen Herrera projected anywhere from 133 to 165.

Berge's brother also a possibility for 165 in 2022.

My vote would be Herrera there, also scoop on crookham? I know he’s young but is so talented, seems like a great kid too also in state

Manville seems like he has come back to the pack a bit. I feel that’s he’s a lot like Joshua Saunders where they were ahead of everyone physically and dominated but as their peers started to mature things evened out a bit. Both of those are still top flight kids that any program would be happy to get but I don’t see them as blue chippers like Brooks is.

Would it mot be better for Rutgers to have him go to Penn State for a year before recruiting him to Rutgers?
Ah I c what u did there! First, saying Suriano would never make it at Rutgers, then now that he’s on top, changing the narrative that he only made it bc he went to PSU first.. nice!
