Local (FL) restaurant yesterday, noticed fellow with an interesting ring, big I, thought it was Illinois. Spoke with him he was an Iowa DB, coached Pro's and College, spoke highly of Paterno. In fact, Paterno hired him for a two-day seminar. I believe he thought i knew his name, but no, whom was i speaking with?

Late 60's, possibly 70ish. Said he coached at UCLA, Stanford, Washington Redskins, among other stops. Said he was "a fast white boy"
(Extremely) Fast white boy from Iowa was Tim Dwight. But, he didn’t coach and was from the 80’s

If it was an Iowa championship ring and not just varsity letterman ring it’d probably be a member of their 1981 (maybe 85 if he didn’t age well ) big ten championship team since any later championships he’d would be too young based on that description and someone from the 1960 team would be too old.
