Since last summer I have been compiling both anecdotal and systemic information concerning the state of the PSU RV fan who does not have a reserved spot. For many of us, paying for a reserved spot for the entire season does not make economic or practical sense (for example, some of us want the freedom to opt for the overnight lot on an ad hoc basis and to skip some games entirely), and in prior years, dispite hiccups from time to time, the unreserved (yellow) passes were adequate to insure an enjoyable experience.
With the changes announced last summer, doubling the price and assigning all yellow pass RVs to the external reaches of the "overnight" lot, I was able to start a dialogue with the person in charge of the athletic facilities. We discussed the impact ot the changes, and I promised that I would be back to him after the season to report on the situation.
I wlll disclose up front that, IMO, the changes have been terrible at best, disastrous at worst. But perhaps other experiences have been had. I invite the Lion's den to chime in to add to the pile I have accumulated over the course of the season and the bowl game.
