There was a video on twitter yesterday showing Zembiec hitting a target from 50 yards out.

Spoke with Jake's HS coach on Fri... Asked him about the Wimbush factor.... I was astonished to hear him say that Brandon called Jake repeatedly after he jumped / tried to get Zembiec to come along with him to ND ... Says Jake knows PSU is for him....
not sure why Wimbush would call Zembiec??? first of all, he is going to be competing for the same job at ND, which I don't think he will win this year. there is some serious talent at ND. BW is a couple years from playing at least. why contact a guy you don't even know to come to a school that you are very uncertain about playing at yourself???

He went to ND because that's where his high school coach wanted him to go. Way to think for yourself, young man. #WeakWilled
I think they'll be starting Wimbush, after 4 or 5 games, this year. He's going to be thrown into the fire quickly. He'll be alright. Best of luck to him at Notre Dame. Win some, lose some, that's the nature of recruiting. It stung worse because of his coach, but what I take away from that, is to put that coach on the "no" list, and move on. Simple as that.
I'll say only that we have a really talented Lax player coming to PSU in the fall of 2018 with the same name as Jake's HS FB coach

History shows that there is a certain kind of kid who is a "Penn State Kid"....these, historically, have been our great players who have won us championships. We are currently, and finally, back to identifying them, and getting them. I'm not concerned with the Wimbush's of the world: They don't come here, and never will come here, and that's just the way it is. We need to get OUR kids. Franklin is doing a tremendous job at that, just the same way Joe did, up until the final 10 years of so of his life, when the job just became too hard at his advanced age.
