Oklahoma 4, Georgia 5, Oregon 6, Alabama 7, Penn State 9, Wisconsin 10. Michigan could end up #1 depending on how the press feels.

B1G went 4-3 in bowls, but could have been 5-2 if Wisconsin could score more than a few field goals in the red zone, plus that ridiculous pass interference call. That's a pretty good showing, overall.

I think Oklahoma drops -- maybe to 6. Iowa should jump ahead of the oppressed fighting Jimmy's. Agree that Bama probably goes ahead of us so I think 9 is where we'll end up.

Penn State should finish higher than Oklahoma who proved by their blowout loss that they shouldn't have been in the playoffs in the first place.

4-4 so far. Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois with losses. Penn State, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan State with wins.

Indiana vs. Tennessee will determine whether the Big Ten has a winning record.

Either way, the Big Ten looked pretty good. Won the Cotton Bowl by 14, convincingly curb stomped a USC team playing in San Diego, punched Auburn in the face, played Clemson to the final seconds, and should have beat Oregon.

I think Indiana still plays?

Eyes must have been crossed when reading the post, thought it was indicating Michigan #10. For at least the 100th time, how about that Don Brown defense and how many of you were rooting for Saban to "punch" it in with a few seconds left?

I think it depends. And I'm really confused.... Kirk and the espn boys all told us that "you should not be hurt for losing an extra game". So how do you account for bowl loses?? Technically a bowl is an "extra game", so do teams not drop for losing their bowl?? Maybe Wisconsin can lose their 4th game and remain at #8..... that sure would make Barry Alvarez & Jimmy Delaney happy.

It sure why Oklahoma would stay at #4 after that absolute debacle.

Every team noted except PSU, OSU and Clemson loses their starting QB's. LSU won't be the same without Burrow neither will OU, UGA, Oregon, AL without their starters.

The Bowls highlighted what everyone knew anyway:

There is the SEC, there is the B10..... and then there is everyone else.

(Also may have made the argument that the ACC is overall a weaker conference than the American)

Prior to the bowl season, the ACC was ranked below the AAC by computer models. It's just awful.

Alabama is already ahead of PSU in both polls. I see 9 or 10 based upon where Minnesota finishes.

No way should Wisconsin finish in the top 10 with 4 losses.

Two of those losses they dominated statistically but gave the game away with turnovers.

And OSU would have won if they would have scored touchdowns instead of field goals. If's don't count.

1. LSU/Clemson winner
2. LSU/Clemson loser
3. Ohio State
4. Georgia
5. Oregon
6. Florida
7. Alabama
8. Oklahoma
9. Penn State
10. Minnesota
11. Wisconsin
12. Notre Dame
13. Baylor
14. Iowa
15. Auburn

Just my hunch.
