Lubrano & Lord on Freeh.

Damn, do I like that. Well done and it should embarrass the 2011 Board of Distrust. The new board members continue to pursue every tool to expose the scoundrels.
Unfortunately, it is the opinion of many, and I agree, that the legacy trustees will do anything to continue their concealment of the truth. Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that financial malfeasance and other criminals activities are the principal motivation for their stonewalling.

if you look at approximately 4:40 marker, Louis Freeh is talking about the 'Big 4' not reporting in February 2011!!! Are we really sure he didn't mean 2001?? or was he covering his ass?

Skill, I think of it as a length of rope, with every unsupported claim spoken, each specific references to Paterno and others, he is adding to the length of rope that will eventually hang him!

Thanks for providing this video because it supports what I have been trumpeting from the very first day the report was released, that being, it was more than just the few e-mails which were included in his report that led Freeh to his conclusions and to point the finger at who he did.

Freeh @ 5:45 of the video:

"Taking into account the available WITNESS STATEMENTS in evidence, it's reasonable to conclude.........."

If they had any dirt on Joe, it would have been published. Freeh, those who hired him, and those who continue to make reference to evidence locked away in Philadelphia are terrified that the motivation for this frame job will be revealed. If there is ANYTHING bring it on. Talk about crickets. Cowards, Fools and perhaps crooks............one by one they slink away. These trustees and Commonwealthbots are despicable people who traded the good name of PSU for their own designs.

And yet Fly'in Ly'in O'Brien attacked both Lubrano and Lord's efforts to seek justice regarding the NCAA's (and Big Turds) ILLEGITIMATE AND UNFAIR ACTIONS which were based on the corrupt BOT's FALSE NARRATIVE designed to protect themselves and out of pure self-interest at the direct expense of PSU and her Football Program. Don't believe me? Here you can read it for yourself at the link below and if the excerpt taken from the article posted below the link doesn't tell you everything you need to know about FLO being a "bought & sold" servile TOOL of the corrupt, not his "own man", I don't know what will. Although I'm quite sure it won't stop the fairytale spinners of the BOT (e.g., the boot-lickers like LaJolla_Moron, pusguy04, pusnut, sepa_douche, etc...) from telling us how the BOT's bought servile little minion was "a savior"....LMFAO.

Penn State football coach Bill O’Brien meets with trustees as university weighs proposal to NCAA for reduction of sanctions

Cut directly from the article above:

***************************************************************
After O’Brien’s presentation was over, a number of trustees sprang from their seats and gave him a standing ovation. One of those was Keith Eckel, who later praised O’Brien as a “great leader” who “sets a standard that we all should aspire to.”

As he was getting ready to leave the campus, O’Brien would only say that he was “just here to say hello to some people” and got into a Penn State van.

Trustees and administrators who came out of the room after the morning session in the morning were tight-lipped, too.

President Rodney Erickson didn’t respond when asked to comment about O’Brien’s appearance, and administrator Tom Poole said O’Brien “just wanted to see some folks.” Lubrano shook his head.
***************************************************************

Yea, what a savior, he stabs the people who are truly acting heroically, like Lubrano and Lord, right in the back just as political scumbag Jake Corman did to the alumni-elected trustees willing to "fight the good fight". These BOT boot-lickers sure do have unusual definitions of "hero" and "savior" that they market to sucker buyers of their BS spin - what a shocker....LMFAO

Oh good, then those witness statements will be available for the courts to review.

Is there a "grasping at straws" emoticon? If so, it would be really appropriate to use now.

Too bad he didn't interview any of the key people, including the one and only actual witness, Mike McQueary.

He could have taken in to account he phase of the moon too, doesn't mean it provided any relevant information.

So, just to be clear here.....you are suggesting that Paterno did something worse than (what the BOT and Freeh Allege) enable a child predator!!! So much so that they were willing to kill the football program (I guess, in order to shield the football program)?

yeah, that makes sense. Take a gun and shoot yourself in the head as treatment for a toothache.

Are you seriously trying to sell that?

I never understood why anyone thinks that helping to catch Sandusky would have been bad publicity. It most likely wouldn't have registered on most people's radars, and if it did, it would have been positive press for an already squeaky clean program. Add to that logic, that Joe spent 61 years doing the right thing, never worrying about bad press.

Oh, and Frank Fina has already publicly stated that Joe wasn't involved in a cover-up.

The whole thing is a farce and has been from the beginning. The "available witness statements" line by Freeh is an admission that he did not do a thorough investigation but that his conclusions are reasonable based on talking to people who represented one side of the issue. It might be reasonable to conclude that the Jews and Christians being beheaded by ISIS deserved it if you spoke only to ISIS members.

This is all very simple. Consider the following.....choose the person you would place your trust in,
Joe Paterno or Louis Freeh
Joe Paterno or Tom Corbett
Joe Paterno or John Surma
Joe Paterno or Ken Frazier
Joe Paterno or Karen Peetz
Joe Paterno or Ron Tomalis
Joe Paterno or Keith Masser
Joe Paterno or David Joyner
Joe Paterno or Ira Lubert
Joe Paterno or Frank Noonan
Joe Paterno or Paul Suhey
Joe Paterno or Joel Myers

Joe Paterno or C.r...66

Joe Paterno wins in a landslide.

But Louis Freeh was the ONLY PERSON capable of considering WITNESS STATEMENTS in evidence!!

It's really quite amazing when you think about it. For Joe's entire life, he is a fine upstanding individual. News of Jerry's crimes hits, and Joe is praised by the AG for his actions, everyone still loves Joe. Then a man with no credibility, conducts a shame investigation, drawing unreasonable conclusions. For a small instant in time, Joe appears to look bad. Life goes on, Freeh and his report get ripped to shreds, Frank Fina clears Joe. Regardless of what you think of Freeh or his report, Fina's conclusion obviously supersede any conclusions of Freeh. Yet people still cling to that one moment in time, they only care about or reference Freeh. It's pure insanity!

Assuming Freeh is referring to the GJP and testimony from the Dec 2011 prelim hearing

Yes. The progression is

1) Attempt to convince you with inane arguments
2) Tell you about his pedigree and how connected and great he is when you (or anyone else) don't buy it
3) Ask you to make a wager on a bet that can not possibly be carried out
4) Threaten to sue you. And he's he's really really triple serious...
5) When he gets really frustrated because you have made him look stupid again, challenge you to a duel that he would never show up for because that would prove he is who we already know he is
6) Start at 1 and repeat....

Apparently he was also the only person able to define who was a witness, although a witness to what he won't say.

it almost seems like carnes and michnitlion have a running "biggest douchebag" contest and they are trying to outdo each other at every turn.

The only thing I'm selling is the FACT that Freeh relied on more than just the few e-mails he included in his report in forming his conclusions. A fact that the many here like to ignore because it flies in the face of their theories.

That's fine and may well be. But unless that information is released, he's just a guy making claims. I saw unicorn in the woods crapping rainbows. What more proof do you need?

It's a FACT that the testimony outside of the few emails freeh relied on is worthless because he never spoke to any of the people closest to 98/01 not even Harmon the freaking chief of police (who wasnt under indictment by the state so theres no reason not to talk to him) for crying out loud!!

Also dont you find it odd that in freehs supposedly unbiased report where he supposedly conducted 100's of interviews there was not one positive thing said about Joe/admins? There wasnt one person who had something good to say about Joe after 61 years of exemplary service to PSU and the community?? I don't believe that for a second.

Yeah, it's a real "comprehensive" report...what a joke.

epic reply!

one has to wonder, with Freeh's apparent motive to burn Paterno and the football program as deeply as he was paid to do, and making such tenuous arguments to do so . . . if he possessed something more damaging, he would have given his report more credibility and done so

Wrong it is NOT a fact.....since you have no proof. Rather, empirical evidence would indicate that other than the testimony of the very Trustees that fired Joe, all that remains is Ms Cindy (who was angry that Joe didn't play along with the setup) and The Woman who stood up to Joe until she got a subpoena...then she wet her drawers like a legacy trustee on 11/11. I will give you credit though, you make an excellent water boy.

I witnessed Obli seeing the unicorn even though I never met him and wasn't there. You see, I'm a witness to his post, ergo, I'm a witness for everything Obli related. Yes, I was witness to Obli's kids being conceived, but that's attorney protected info.
