Since there was no NCAA’s and Mark finished the year #1, he should count that as a National Championship ring, correct?

I hate you. So what. I want to know if the ncaa is recognizing folks as nat champs. If that scares your sorry ass - skip the thread ****face
The NCAA has decided to recognize every wrestler as the NCAA champion this year, even the ones who did not qualify. Fans, too, are the NCAA champion. I phoned the NCAA’s 800 number, and I got two NCAA champion gold medals. :) #happytohelp

Wow, very uncalled for. Not to mention you did not ask if the NCAA was recognizing champs, you said they should. Maybe you should address your question to the NCAA, although the answer is pretty obvious.

Uh, no. Only if the #1 wrestler at the end of the seasons ALWAYS wins the national championship; and we know that happens very rarely (if at all). It's demeaning to the guys who might have won, but never got the chance.
