Looks like a team searching for an identity and just can't find one.
Do they intentionally make their uniforms as ugly as possible?
They need one of these on their helmets..
Their other helmets look like that.They need one of these on their helmets..
I haven't seen that much yellow since the last Pitt home game.
I get the draw of having alternate uniforms, at least for other programs without tradition. I actually like the two sets of horizontal stripes on the jersey and the dark grey color for the pants, numbers, and trim. The yellow color in the jersey, however, is putrid... like you said, reminiscent of crash test dummies. Aweful! Then again, if their goal is to get noticed, this may help. I can’t see them selling too many games f these jerseys though, and it won’t guarantee a win this week.
I am soooo glad our colors are blue and white. Some of the unis today are soooo bad.
They do it for attention and cache. And here we are noticing it. Works 60 percent of the time, all the time.
