looks as though Rasheed has the toughest swing through CA, as both of his opponents are ranked.

enjoy

Thanks Tom! McKenna offers a nice chance for Gulibon to redeem himself a little after Va Tech.

#18 Connor Schram So. Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan 5-0
OR Brian Rossi Fr. Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township 7-3

As well as Schram has been performing, this Rossi kid has appeared to supplant Connor at 125.

Interesting to see that Cael is fully backing Rasheed (which I'm fine with), I thought he may have he and Hammond split the weekend. Very interested in seeing how Cory handles a really tough dude in Jim Wilson

Cory?

Shakur deserved a few starts to get rolling at least . To start a rotation after 2 matches wouldn't help the young man much that won the job in the room.

Pretty bummed for Nevills being hurt when the team is getting over to CA to compete in front of his home state fans.

What are the chances Crop that we see him in the postseason? Disappointing for the kid who put in so much work in the offseason from what I read. Basically spent entire summer away from his family to train.

Slim to none, I'd say. Particularly if Nevills will be eligible for a 6th year.

Yeah, I agree. The other day listening to Cael at Media Day, his answer about being positive & reevaluating in January or February, I thought it sounded an awful lot like how we heard him sound a bunch last year--especially about Andrew Alton's possible return.

Although a littler different. I know the Altons had trouble getting back in shape after knee problems. Yeah they had the shoulder but the knee was never the same. We don't know the extent of Nevils injury yet but the thought is that it is either the pec or bicep. If true he should atleast be able to start conditioning soon so that when he is clear he should be in shape which is huge. Now whether or not he will be strong enough in the upper body or will be recovered in time to get a cole matches is another story. if hes 100% by end of January I think he goes. But if there is still quetionhe will get the shirt. Just my opinion

I think it may hugely depend on the Scuffle results as well. If we blow away the field at the scuffle then maybe Cael feels more confident without Nevills. If it's really close (we're going to win, just a matter of by how much), you may see Nick back if he can get healthy

Well Hammond is on the trip too, if only to give us protection against a failed weigh in, or Rasheed getting hurt. Rasheed isn't ranked, but Hammond was pre-season before losing in the wrestle offs. Rasheed is a good wrestler. I think he is being under estimated.

I don't know if I'd say under estimated. We all seem to know what he's capable of and he dominated McFadden before gassing. It'll all be about if his cut gets any easier. He's a really tall guy and looked super frail at '65. If he can figure out a way down that works for him he'll cause trouble for a lot of guys in a weight class that is wide open after Ringer and IJo. One this I love about Rasheed is his arms are super long so he can get to his opponents legs from super far out.

The problem is we won't know the answer to that until we apply for it in 2019.

Believe the rules have been changed NoVa Lion on the decision. Don't have to wait as long as they use to wait to get a ruling on a Medical Redshirt. That helps athletes and the schools. Now they can plan ahead and not have to wait for a decision after eligibility is over.

Note: Any updates or modifications are welcome.

and for those that have trouble remembering this break his name into its' syllabels;
Sha Kur Corey rhymes with Kur.

I do the same thing with a lot of things. One day, though, I was explaining this breakdown/association process to my wife. She is exceptionally bright. She stared at me for about three seconds, then said, "Shut up, your confusing me. Remembering it without all of that bull$h!t is a lot easier!"

She sometimes has a very charming way about her.

So your saying... there is some woman out there who may be smarter than most of us guys... and your married to her?

It's not the medical RS they have to wait on, it's applying for the 6th year. You don't even do that until after the 5th year. It's possible that has changed but I haven't seen that anywhere.

Here it is, seen it on the FOS board, not sure where backdraft76 got the info but possibly answers a few questions:

So NN said that he tore 90% of his pec and won't know for a couple weeks an update on his healing progress. Was very grateful of Johnson for filling in.
