I’ll take all the Lee brothers that family has. I like the cut of their jib - no nonsense, hard working kids. They seem to be the kind of kids Cael and crew have to kick out of the room just so they don’t overwork themselves

Talking to some people that follow Indiana wrestling, Matt was a later bloomer than Nick and Joe. He finished 7th in his first 2 tries at states before winning it finally and going 41-0 his junior year before heading to PSU and starting Cael's plan. You what they say about late bloomers ... they can be the best of them all when it's all said and done.
I don't think he was recruited super heavily since it was a foregone conclusion he was going to be a Lion. I think with another season his senior like his junior year, he would have been a much high profile recruit but once again, the plan... Not sure when or what weight he cracks the lineup at but I know when he does ... look out, he will be special.

Schock 35. It was a Nolf-like race for us. Started fast and kept the hammer down the whole way. Second boat across was 4:03 behind.
I for one am not a huge fan of these interviews I would like to see more substance!!
I have to admit, I'm always hoping for a video interview. You can get a little more flavor for personality this way. It would be nice to see.
I'm fine with the standard format as an initial introduction. After all, they're just freshman, and for most we'll have 5 years to get to know them. Seems a practical and reasonable approach.
Perhaps we could have Cenzo ask the questions on occasion. That would be interview gold! 😆

Here is one last sailing photo for the season. We did the reverse handicap race yesterday. It is a staggered start based on handicap so there is no corrected time. Whomever crosses the finish line first wins. The last boat we passed took this shot of us as we trucked by them to leeward. Always more fun to cross the line first!
Well, the questions are the same for every new athlete, and it's not just wrestling. The other sports have the same exact questions for true frosh kids.
